Drill is a style of trap music that originated from the South-side of Chicago. In the Chicago Hip-Hop scene Drill music is very prominent and has become increasingly popular among not only the people of Chicago but many areas around the States. Drill music is defined by its incredibly dark and violently filled lyrical content. For this reason Drill music is very often associated with gang violence and criminal activity.
